Our classes are structured in 4-Week Series. The classes are progressive meaning we learn something new each week!

Registration is now open for 2025. The next 4-Week Salsa Series will begin January 6th, 2025. (Enrollment for all 2024 Salsa 4-Week Series is now closed)
What can you do to dance before 2025? You can enroll in one of the November 2024 Bootcamps or/and attend one of our Saturday Night Salsa & Bachata Nights where we begin the night with dance classes at 8pm.

Levels 1 -4
Below are short class descriptions of the different class levels we offer. These may help you get a better understanding of what level class is best for you.
Level 1 - Beginner Salsa Dance
This class will teach you the salsa basics for the absolute beginner. It's easy to begin in this class even if you have never taken any dance classes before. Each week, we stack on new salsa skills so that little by little, you get better and more confident with dancing salsa!
Level 2 - Pre-Intermediate Salsa “Fun”-damentals
Move beyond the basics and take your salsa dancing up a level! In this class you learn salsa FUNdamentals such as left turns, two handed turns, hand changes and so much more. This level is generally taken for a minimum of 3 months because we focus on a different salsa techniques/skills every month.
Min. Requirements that you know the salsa basic steps in addition to strong understanding of the cross-body lead, right turn, cuban step, timing, and leader-follower connection.
Level 3 - Intro To Salsa Patterns/Combinations - Fun Cool Salsa Combinations
Min requirements - 3 Months of Level 2, or must be tested by Juan for all required skills for this class. Email us with any questions at salsawithjuan@gmail.com
Level 4 - Advanced Creative Salsa Patterns/Combinations
Introducing higher level technique so we can really get fancy-like! This is where you start working with some wraps, some hand tosses, hammerlocks, hook turns, 1+1/2 turns and more! The result is a dancer that people will aspire to be like!
